B7 Recordings
B7 is a sublabel of No Border Recordings based in Germany. While No Border Recordings is generally more connected to Progressive House, B7 aims to stand for a different genre of music (Techno, Tech House, Minimal). The name 'B7' originates from the 'Bundesstraße', number 7, a highway that runs straight through Germany. Stretching across and connecting the towns of Jena and Nettetal, this is where the owners of No Border Recordings, Andreas Gruhle and Philipp Peters, live.
The main theme, being the 'Bundesstraße 7', is featured in the artwork of B7 trying to capture landscapes and scenery from this road on this 400 kilometers stretch lying between Jena and Nettetal.
The sound of B7 is bound to differ greatly from the sound of No Border Recordings. Andreas and Philipp desire to give Techno and Tech House producers the chance to present their sound to the rest of the world, inevitably leaving the sound to be more techno-infused, deeper and darker... A sound for small and intimate clubs, where dedicated party people love to spend never-ending nights.
